Bison Residency / Room Matze provides premium paying‑guest (PG) and co‑living style accommodation for men in Shanthinagar, Bangalore, with furnished rooms, meals, Wi‑Fi, CCTV security, housekeeping, laundry facilities, and recreation areas. 

2. Scope & Applicability

This Privacy Policy applies to: (a) our public website and any microsites or landing pages we operate; (b) online enquiry, booking, payment, feedback, and contact forms; (c) emails, messaging apps, and phone communications with us; (d) data collected in connection with accommodation registration (KYC), check‑in, or stay management; (e) Wi‑Fi network usage metadata we may log for security; and (f) CCTV and access‑control systems on our premises. It covers personal data in digital form, including data first collected offline that we later digitize.

“Personal Data” means any data about an identifiable individual. “Digital Personal Data” is personal data in digital form (including data collected offline but digitized). “Data Principal” = the individual to whom the data relates (you). “Data Fiduciary” = the entity that determines the purpose and means of processing (Bison Residency / Room Matze). “Processing” includes collection, storage, use, sharing, disclosure, and deletion. These simplified definitions are drawn from and aligned to the DPDP Act for user clarity (legal text prevails where needed).

Name, phone, email, postal address, emergency contact, government ID numbers (e.g., Aadhaar, passport, PAN) as required for KYC / police verification norms for accommodation providers. Booking & Stay Data

Room type, check‑in / check‑out dates, payment status, service requests, meal preferences, maintenance tickets, and related correspondence. Facility features such as room category (single, twin, three‑sharing) are linked to bookings. 

5.3 Payment & Billing Data

Transaction identifiers, invoicing details, limited payment instrument references (we do not store full card numbers when using a compliant payment gateway), and GST‑related information where applicable. Requirements for reasonable security practices apply to financial data categorized as sensitive personal information under the SPDI Rules.
